By the time I woke up we were docked in St. Thomas. Must have happened around 4-5 AM since the ship took on a different motion around then. Somehow room service missed my request so we ended up eating on the Lido deck where we ran into the rest of our group.

Yvette and I ran solo today first heading downtown where the jewelery stores were EVERYWHERE. Don’t think I’ve ever been into so many in my life. Picked up a few items, including cigars and cigarettes along with a tote bag that changes color in the sun. If your not into being huckstered into shops, etc. downtown isn’t for you.

The humidity is really up today as is the temperature so shade is important! We opted to walk back from downtown St Thomas along the harbor. Longish but since I hadn’t been to the gym today I could use the exercise.

We lunched late at the Fat Frog in a really nice shopping area. Had a great view of the harbor and their rum punch was great on the hot day. We just had appetizers instead of a large lunch but hit up a Ben & Jerry’s afterward!

We were back on board by 3 ish, well in advance of the 5:30 PM leave time. Napped until about dinner time and joined Hank, Terry, Joe and Sue for a buffet dinner.

We found our formal pictures from Monday night and purchased most of them. They really turned out well. Caught the 8:30 magic show and then opted for some time just chatting outside on deck 4. Not moving too fast since St. Martin isn’t too far away. Yvette even got close to the deck railing to look out at the water.

We tried our luck at the penny slots without much luck. Herb hit it big with a straight flush at the “Let It Ride table. A few more drinks and a stop at the midnight comedy show and we were ready for bed. Tomorrow is our last port call in St. Martin.
